Methods To Meet Objectives and Goals :

Observations, investigations, experiments, lectures, demonstrations, independent
and group study, research, audio/visual and online presentation from research,
home projects and online study time, class activities/ labs, guest presenters, games
and more computer activity, and hopefully independent or group field trips/ travel.

Materials:   *students are expected to have basic school supplies and paper/ notebook
with pens/ pencils and other materials needed from teacher's request for assignments.

*textbook will be provided in class as a supplement.   A system of "check-out" will be
used for use of taking materials home or to a study hall.  Majority of all reading materials
and use of information provided at : mrmyrtuesclassroom.com   ( mr myrtue's world)

* Basic instruction will be provide at the beginning of year in use of Mr. Myrtue's website

Any questions can also be used to send emails with school website and teacher files.

All classes are assigned to GOOGLE CLASSROOM and each student will receive several
messages/ emails concerning homework reminders , tests and project information and
several key explanations of science work and expectations.  ***be sure to read them after
they are sent to every student in each of my class !!!!!

Grading expectations:

Assignments will all be graded as quickly as possible.  Its very important to have home
work turned on time and not fall behind.   I am available for any help if needed, be sure
to communicate with any needs you might have.  You may email me at anytime.

A - 90 %   B - 80%  C- 70 %  F - 60 %
 **go to school website to review the entire grading system

Late homework---any assignment late is worth ( 50% ) of total points originally given.
You will be allowed 1 days to turn work in. Special considerations might be used if
certain issues exists.   *Its important to complete work on time to be successful student.


Absent Work/ make up = If situations of missing class for variety of reasons, a student
is responsible to inform teacher of all missed work or testings.  Please try to keep track
of teacher website for schedule and assignments.   Proper time will be allowed to complete
all needed work.
    ** if you know in advance of missing class, please inform me.
