Storm Project--- review:

What would I do ?

----------------------------------

1.   Decide on 4 kinds of storms

2. Pick 1-2 pictures to use for your project.

3.  Below each pic give a short summary of what you would do bef
ore the storm.

4.  Show what to do during a storm.

5.  List what to do after a storm.

Picture
Tornadoes:    before =   I would put in my garage the lawn mower, my bicycle, my wind-chyme, check my windows, put my pick-up in too.  Then take the dogs and me into the basement with my radio and candles.

during the tornado---------I would pray and try to stay calm, hug my dogs !

after the tornado------I would help others and pick up things in my yard and their yards.  ***mostly , I d help others.
Make sure to have good shoes on.
Picture
Sandstorms ----------before I would herd up  all my goats into my barn,   I d get my camels into my fenced in pasture, and make sure my tent home is set down well.  I d make sure I had plenty of water for me.  I d go into my tent.

during------  I would tie my self to a pole inside my tent so
I don t blow away, I might stay with the goats to make sure they
are ok, I would be sure to not go out until the wind slows down

After----- I would put a scarf around my face to walk out and see the damage.   I would have to pick up anything that was knocked over and brought into my farm.   I d have to have ride my camel to near bye friends and help them with the damages and clean up.

What to do in case of an ice storm :

Picture
Picture
Ice storms and sleet:    before-----get my kerosine heater and make sure I have fuel in case electricity goes out.   (Pray for my fish that won t happen)
I d want to check my freezer to see what food I have, and also maybe go to the grocery store to get a few food that I can eat and not have to cook.

during ------     will watch TV and have my ( survival radio) ready to use
keep my eye on the storm and look outside now and then to check out the damages of the freezing rain and sleet.  ***don t drive***

after-----  try to clean off my sidewalk and driveway of the ice.   If I have no electricity I will use some candles for light and put on extra warm socks and maybe call some friends to see how they are doing.

*** if I m out of electricity for a long time I will have to decide what to eat and how.   ( some things will not be able to be heated of course )

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

****take a peak at my "climate project" and view the final page I give for conditions of weather.  Should help you on this project explained above.
