River System project: (partners)
1. Use the following terms relating to fresh water:
(go back to your foldable assignment)----these are examples from one of your classmates: erosion, water cycle, watersheds, youthful rivers, mature rivers, river deposits, delta, floodplains, canoes, steamboats, springs and wells, caves, sinkholes, water pollution,
2. With your partner look at both of your foldables and focus just on topics about fresh water only!!!!
3. As a 2 person group you will design a short power-point lesson and present it to the entire class next week ( due on Wednesday, Feb. 11th)
4. Assignment = use 5 topics about fresh water from your group's foldable assignment. Now create / recreate these topics in a power-point format.
a. have your design in at least 5 -10 slides
b. show at least 5 pictures of those 5 topics
c. you will need to give at least 5 characteristics or
pieces of information about each topic
***that is a total of 25 characteritics/ information
example might be that a group will set up a lesson about canoeing, sinkholes, mountain run-off/ rapids,
the Grand Canyon, caves, and fishing on the Mississippi
