This is a very important section:

Your "journal" or ( bell - ringer ) work:

1.  Whenever I instruct the class to get out ( your journal ) ---

you will need
to have your notebook out and ready to do the short assignment.

2.  The
VERY FIRST THING THAT YOU ALWAYS DO IS = put day's date down.

3.  The journal work will be varied:

(it is collected usually once/ every other week)

     a.  might be a homework assignment from your textbook

     b.  might be a short start of class "bell-ringer" where you write down some
information or observation of what we did at the start of class.

     c.  might be ( notes that you take )---while watching some video or activity

     d.  there are variety of lessons in class where I can have you do work in journals

4.  A common time to use the "journal" is "taking notes" for student presentations

5.  MAIN things = always write down the date of work being done and be NEAT

**** IN THE PAST-----
SOME STUDENTS  will either have nothing done to turn in
or have "sloppy-half done work" and DO NOT DATE IT!

Your grade for this work will be at a low score if NOT completed correctly !!!!!

*****Simply do what you 're told to do and you will do fine with journal work.
